Begin Anew empowers individuals to overcome obstacles caused by poverty by providing education, mentoring, and resources.

The Nashville Public Library estimates there are at least 250,000 area adults who need help with basic literacy skills, conversational English and high school equivalency testing. Any donation, no matter how large or small, makes a tangible difference in addressing the huge unmet needs within our community. And your impact will continue on for generations to come – children of low-literacy parents are 72% more likely to have poor reading skills themselves.

For one year, your monthly investment of $25 provides 2 months of snacks and crafts for children of enrolled students. Thank you for helping us Teach One Generation To Change The Next.
Give the Gift of Education
For one year, your monthly investment of $50 provides 4 students with the resource materials for taking all 5 subjects of the High School Equivalency Exam. Thank you for your commitment to break the cycle of poverty!
Give the Gift of a Future
For one year, your monthly investment of $175 allows a student to work toward achieving their High School Equivalence diploma, improve their English Language skills and/or work toward enhancing their computer and job skills. Begin Anew invests over $2,000 annually per student. Thank you for helping us Teach One Generation To Change The Next!

For one year, your monthly investment of $350 allows a student to work toward achieving their High School Equivalence diploma, improve their English Language skills and/or work toward enhancing their computer and job skills.
