Our Mission:
Begin Anew empowers individuals to overcome obstacles caused by poverty by providing education, mentoring, and resources.
By setting up a recurring monthly donation, you become part of the lifeblood of our mission. This is a great way to establish a sustainable rhythm of support that works within your monthly budget.
The Nashville Public Library estimates there are at least 250,000 area adults who need help with basic literacy skills, conversational English and high school equivalency testing. Any donation, no matter how large or small, makes a tangible difference in addressing the huge unmet needs within our community. And your impact will continue on for generations to come – children of low-literacy parents are 72% more likely to have poor reading skills themselves.
Together, we can break this cycle.
