Join us August 1st, for our Annual Volunteer Training! Whether you are a new volunteer or returning, come learn skills that will equip you to serve our students. It’s also a great opportunity to spend time with volunteers from all campuses and learn from one another.

Our English Language Learning Volunteers will have a workshop led by Nathan Ivy from Burlington English. He will demonstrate how to get the most out of this resource. This workshop will also talk about common struggles students experience while trying to learn English and creative approaches to overcoming those issues.

Our High School Equivalency workshop will be led by two of our Program Managers, and they will give an overview of the path students take to receive their High School Equivalency Diploma. They will demonstrate the resources available to both students and volunteers to aid in the tutoring and testing process.
